Our 12 crew members are trained to respond quickly and effectively, minimizing disruption to the event. This ability to adapt has been developed over 14 years of delivering events in Toronto. By having a solid plan in place, we can mitigate the effects of unexpected problems and ensure the event proceeds with minimal interruption.
Venue constraints often shape the format of an event. The maximum number of guests we can accommodate is 251, and this constraint influences the type of events we can host. For example, a Team-building day or Family celebration typically involves 80 to 150 guests, and we work with the venue to ensure the space is used efficiently. Our on-site coordination team works closely with the venue staff to ensure a smooth event. The venue's layout and amenities also play a role in determining the event format, and we work with clients to select a venue that meets their needs.
A client brief is the starting point for developing an event plan. Atmosphere
The physical space of our events often features wooden floors and drywall partitions. Lighting is typically provided by LED fixtures. The sound systems consist of speakers and amplifiers. Guests sit on chairs made of metal and plastic. The air is conditioned and heated by a ventilation system. The layout of the space is determined by the type of event. For example, a press evening may have a staffed bar and a podium made of wood. The room is equipped with AV and lighting equipment, including microphones and projectors. The walls are often covered with fabric or painted drywall. Guests walk on carpet or hardwood floors.
The school
Students aged 19 and up learn card and board games at our school. Instructors teach gameplay using symbolic chips with no cash value, as nothing is wagered or paid out.
Our school operates with a focus on teaching game strategy and rules, using chips solely for instructional purposes.
